My bookkeeper does the books and I vaguely look them over on occasion. But I basically don’t have a business model. My finances = long periods of managerial neglect punctuated by moments of sheer cash-flow terror, as invoices weave their way along their relativistic timelines. 😆

I know a shit ton more about my clients’ business models than my own. Mainly because they have them.

You know, the day I announced commitment to full-time freelance (not entrepreneurship) I got a really great project that turned into a salary position and I’m constantly amazed how much I love it.
