Now I request from to do the same for energy tech. Nuclear is clearly Left Authoritarian and Solar—at least, small-scale solar—is Left Libertarian. Solarpunk can be read as an exploration of the political opinions of solar.

Hmm I dunno, solar could also be right authoritarian. Libertarians love it. Conservation is more the left libertarian deal. Right authoritarian is obviously fossil fuels, and perhaps wind (since wind farms are big capital).

Fossil fuels definitely authoritarian but I think it can be both left and right. Mexico’s current president is a left authoritarian fossil fuel lover 😒
