The distance between 1910s socialism and 2010s socialism appears to be the semantic distance between the words "solidarity" and "allyship". Which seems similar to the distance between "nuclear bomb" and "nuclear reactor" (explosive/revolution vs. sustained reaction/evolution)

This is a purely language level comment btw, with no comment intended on the content of either word. By this analogy, the "intersectionality" matrix of difference is like cadmium control rods dampen nuclear reactions enough to turn explosions into sustained energy sources

Running with the analogy, I suspect the current level of cadmium rods is too high to allow the reactor to reach criticality.
