If you analyze a complicated situation only in superlative terms, you're part of the reason it's complicated. A true/false propositional-logic bot in a world that requires first-order predicate logic at the very minimum.

Dickens' "superlative degree of comparison only" tags a one-step-to-Godwin rhetoric. A kid scrawling a swastika on a wall becomes "literally" Hitler and equivalent to a concentration camp CO. A gesture at a socialist policy becomes "literally" Stalin/Mao mass starvation

Since anything presents a degrees-of-Hitler/degrees-of-Stalin aspect if you squint and aggressively threshold a fuzzy set into a boolean set, everything turns into a proxy full-Hitler vs. full-Stalin contest of moral wills. Coke is literally Hitler. Pepsi is literally Stalin.
