When somebody says "well said" about something you say, it's time to stop saying it. It means you didn't surprise them, but they've already thought the thought and are glad they weren't the one to say it. It means you're unwittingly acting as a spokesperson for a tribal sentiment

Everything is political unfortunately (even a door handle to a disabled person) and having no ambitions in that area doesn’t mean you’re not part of that game. It’s a good thing to cement what’s right so you can explore new things.
