Incidentally, I think people are getting a mistaken impression from my tweets. I'm neither pining for the lost days of frontier blogging, nor looking to resurrect it. I'm just observing a closing and wondering where people who got started in frontier times will go next.

Blogging no longer *has* a frontier. The frontier at large has moved to other things (crypto for example) but for writers with a frontier temperament, I don't know if there's a new frontier at all. Many may choose not to get into writing at all today and do something else.
