My martial artist friends often share videos showing things like an MMA fighter beating up a traditional martial artist.
But other things being equal, what would be make for better mental training for military leadership? MMA or stylized traditional martial arts?

Ah! Then allow me .... Martial arts mastery takes study and discipline. Cage fighting takes skill and conditioning, but also rage, power, and ferocity. Martial arts is the better general. MMA is the better warrior in the field. The two are not mutually exclusive.

I know we’re talking in generalities here but mma obviously takes study and discipline almost in the exact same way that tma does, and emotions like rage are a hinderance for both.
