Not like a chromebook/tablet service oriented thing. Remote access to persistent general compute node in the cloud usable by non techies. Telnet/SSH reimagined for normies. Serverless digital home (not homepage). Dropbox but for apps.

I’ve been thinking a lot about it and call a whole class of things “streaming computing”. I think it’s the same solution as what urbit is doing - just that most will pay for a supported, somewhat centralized service.
