This shutdown frankly worries me. It's much more than the minor, shallow showboating that we've seen in past admins. This has a powder-keg quality to it that's really dangerous. But somehow both the media and we citizens seem to have lost our sense of urgency about it.

It needs sustained pressure towards a quick *peaceful* resolution. It's no longer about wall or federal employees' paychecks. It's a state of one-sided administrative civil war. Starvation siege of state authority capability by people who would be glad to see a real civil war

ATC strike was broken by military air traffic controllers. TSA though is a larger body.
