I just used the terms “eigencustomer” and “market eigenvectors” in an email. There are advantages to having clients with engineering backgrounds who grok such metaphors. You can’t talk this efficiently with even the smartest execs who are from marketing/sales type backgrounds.

I get it. May be a different point is that it’s not an exclusive term. A biologist may call it marketDNA, an agriculturist may call it marketgrain. What we can say instead, is that you have found your type, and can grok on jargon with them. Good for you!
