Anyone actually *want* to learn management consulting from me? With the caveat that I can’t promise jobs or gigs (and therefore can’t pull off lambda school type no-fees-upfront models)

Potentially, but it definitely depends on what sort of ‘management consulting’ you actually do. So far it’s not really legible to me, and outside of the big firms ‘mc’ means lots of different things

And I say this as a mostly-illegible management consultant :)

What you do sounded more industry specific than general management consulting when we spoke?

I think I’m a generalist as far as industry! I help very large corporates build the capabilities and systems to innovate. Because I have two primary, long-term clients, I get pulled into execution and this have built up some domain expertise

But if I failed to make my practice legible to someone like you, maybe what I really need is a course in sales!

Well it was a brief chat in a noisy bar :P Maybe you should teach the course and I should attend

One of my college courses was co-taught by two professors who disagreed on everything except for the syllabus. They’d often just debate each other for long stretches. Maybe you need an adversarial co-teacher!
