Blue pills cost way more to manufacture than red pills. Lots more tedious labor too. But the rewards are worth it. Red pills short normie culture to create subcultures. Blue pills create normie cultures out of future nausea. About a million times more valuable.

I just found your old blog post <3 I have had the unique experience of taking 10 years away from software development as a stay at home mom, and when I returned to work 6 months ago, I felt like I had time traveled into the future. It has been a really fun experience.

The one about future nausea. I also watched 15 years of Survivor seasons in a few months, which is also quite like time travel.

I've been having a lot of these moments lately, and wondered if it's the state of technology, or my age. Do all people who are 40ish start to feel like they're living in the future simply because they can remember so much of the past?

Possibly. Was just chatting with friends in 40s with teen kids who aren’t as surprised as we are, to the point that they’re more gullible, about tech ‘magic’. Where we would be skeptical because we’ve seen the bare metal era and are more likely to know how the insides work.
