I’m trying to remember why I started ribbonfarm in 2007. Proximal cause was I had lots of private drafts piled up. But thing is, I tossed 99% of it, and most of what I wrote was fresh, not polished from drafts. I think I started blogging to get away from (dodge?) draft pile.

Though I wrote them between ages 33-38, they reflect thinking done mostly between ages 28-33. But 2013-18 has been livecoding of version 1 thinking. You’ve been getting ages 38-44 thinking. So for first 5 years of ribbonfarm I didn’t actually think much at all.
