Unironically excited about Ultimate Thule flyby. Ever since Halley’s comet in 1986 got me looking through a telescope for the first time, new astronomy sights have been my one guaranteed source of existential euphoria. Which is like the opposite of existential angst.

The uncertainty is wide with this one. It's not unlikely that the cameras would miss the thing entirely on the closest part, and all we'll get would be some low res bright spots. Even in the best case it would still be just an ordinary-looking boring gray space rock.
