Most non-binary people I know are willing to accept singular they, even if they would prefer the new pronouns.

in Slovenian they are championing using _ delineated amalgamation of masculine and feminine form. eg.: a "user" is M: "uporabnik" F: "uporabnica" resulting in "uporabnik_ca" Which one comes first is somewhat grammar dependent, but usually it's F.

... this only works in writing, there's no consistent spoken language form. Some mix their pronouns, some use "middle" gender (we have 3 grammatical genders)

In Spanish activists don't make a big deal about gendered pronouns, because they are still working on figuring out what to do with the actual nouns. Nouns are gendered in a way that encode lots of sexist assumptions.
