Either that or LPs key off 10 year returns for round number reasons and then don't reup the next year because VC is not a great investment

Mean time the VC partners who raised the fund sticking around? Check the distribution. May be median life is a few years with a handful of longlivers. Also curious about weighting by size of fund.

Yeah I'd guess it's the average as most funds last 10 years and deliver a crappy return and then die. Some last longer and pull up the averagepic.twitter.com/SQEP1BG6Il
