Something I need right now is examples of people who are an order of magnitude better than average/me at:
* Making decisions with 'impossible' trade-offs
* Building relationships with difficult people
* Negotiating with difficult people
* Prioritising amidst chaos
Suggestions?

You want these 2 qualities in the *same * person?
Damn millennials even feel entitled to impossible role models
You solve 1 by breaking up with 1 or more difficult people until tradeoff becomes possible
You solve 2 by never making decisions

Lol no. I’d be happy for any examples of any of these; we have the entirety of history at our disposal...
Although I think 1 and 4 would be easier to find in the same person, as would 2 and 3.

If you find any examples don’t bother telling me. It’s too late for me. Save yourself.
My personal strategy for dealing with theses challenges is to do it badly. Solve for simply coming out alive and moving on.

Aaaah but this seems to be the entire strategy of all the middle-ages people I know and they’re all dead inside ahhhh....

Life doesn’t truly begin until you’re dead inside. That’s when it gets interesting. Before that it’s a training simulation.
