Hmm. Marquee buildings that advertise an architect’s signature style are like haute couture. The real money is likely in any commodity, cookie-cutter “ready to build” (like ready to wear) design patterns you incept in the industry. The former is auditioning for a shot at latter.

Architecture economics aren't isomorphic with fashion... architects that do ready to wear sacrifice the accolades required to notarize a signature. John Portman is an interesting outlier of sorts, but even he is a villain to the signature cult
