Did they do the eggs for you...? The place downstairs from my house has you crack the eggs yourself so you can wait longer for better done eggs. At places where they make it for you, yeah I bet you can ask “less runny” or something

That’s your preferred state in the picture? Fascinating. Mine is firm whites, yolk just starting to gel but still runny enough for a few few toast dips. “Over medium” in the US if fried, or proper soft boiled in the shell where if you peel it holds together but is runny inside.
