Tough to answer. IKEA assembly has a big flaw, IMO: tough to understand the purpose of each step as it relates to the whole. I can execute complex plans if I have tools to decompose big steps into smaller ones. If I'm restricted to a single level of detail, I'll inevitably fail.

Plans more complex than IKEA furniture assembly are the lego bricks my life is made up of. There's very little that is less complex than that. At least with IKEA furniture theoretically all the pieces required are available and ready.

Complex plans of my own are much easier to execute than those of an organization. A whole level of decomposition and explanation is required.
