Interesting perspective, but at heart is a fundamentally dark (personal) perspective that economic and political games are unfair. I have a different view - a bright mirror view. Software eating the world is a good thing - it frees up human ingenuity to do interesting things

Income/wealth inequality is not a good proxy for agency inequality. Many developing countries have high $ inequality but admirably egalitarian levels of suckagency. The system is a robust nexus of homeostatic suckage in which nobody has significantly higher suckagency than others

I agree with that. It can and will, just not for a generation or so, and it happens to be a critical generation with deep existential risks and collective mental health is failing at the challenge right now.

My point is, at a macro level, of billions faced with this challenge, most are failing to tackle it in Official Healthy and Positive Way (which I've been writing about for years). Category error. Like I'm talking about obesity epidemic and you're saying "crossfit/paleo exist"

You're making claims like "UBI will solve it" with no evidence that that's happening fast enough to address issues here. I said it will take a generation. You're sidestepping current generation and its ongoing failures, mismatch between adaptive responses and macro outcomes.
