Your example proves my point. Unless you learn advanced astrophysics, you have to take the astrophysicists word for it. And untilyou do, their claims are the same as those of priests. To the ignorant, vedas = astrophysics textbooks. Equal ignorance of both.

Like technology, only to those who don’t understand the explanation. The faith element resides in foundational assumptions. For instance, Darwinism depends upon belief in the miracle of abiogenesis.
