I’m basically a Liberal (pomo/neo, not classical), but consider myself on loan to Team Progressive till 2020 at least. They are so inept, even I can‘t hurt them right now. And liberals are holding their own without my help, though gaining a reputation for classical obnoxiousness.

Interestingly, I think many natural conservatives are playing on Team Trump for the time being, in a spirit of Friedmanite “wrong person doing the right thing for the wrong reason” (Claremont “Flight 93 election” types). As are Thielean Libertarians who I can’t tell apart.

The only Conservative things Trump is doing are tax and regulation cuts. I think is right ... some see the rest of his nonsense as the pricetag to pay for these wins. But, I think Thielians just want to see things burn.

Doesn’t have to be specific. Control of judiciaryis an end in itself. The ultimate insurance policy for executive and legislative action. For starters they will backstop the corporate welfare state.
