depends on how it's taught? it's not that weird to teach at least a basic outline of the biblical genesis story (and whatever other theistic "alternatives" you consider noteworthy) but it shouldn't be presented as a refutation to Darwinian evolutionary biology.

in the domain of medicine, though, you're not really dealing with a field of science but rather a culture of practice that ought to be considered a kind of "health engineering". you can often benefit from practices that are not fully understood (and don't need to be to benefit).
