“This is more of a comment than a question” is Q&A cancer.
If you paid attention to the talk, and truly grok the contents of your “comment”, you can always connect the two via a real question that will allow both of you to feel smart and learn from that the audience will enjoy.

I don't see why anyone would ever allow people to ask "questions" on the mic. It's just an opportunity for grandstanding. Collect them on notecards.
