I have very simple needs for mental health. All I need is to write one essay a year that allows me to pretend I have a clue about what’s going on. I don’t even need it to make sense or go viral. I just need to feel very clever writing it. Feeling lasts a whole year 😎

Heh. I've been reading through 's "Crab Canon" list (goo.gl/8cxpyf) and it is definitely a primary recurring theme.
At this point, you could probably do a meta post just reviewing how your mental health takes have evolved over the years

Mentor once advised that I write a full page about my life, every year. Amazing what you learn about yourself, and IMO what you resolve, with a simple exercise like that. Key takeaway? Knowing your priorities.
