What is the densest general interest writing you know of (ie that does not rely on either specialized jargon or require specialized background information on the part of the reader)? Most general-purpose meaning packed into the fewest general purpose words.

I resent ribbonfarm people cause a bunch of them are/were into my old pseudo-mathematical sloganeering about aesthetics to an almost unhealthy degree but none of them care as much about the actual mathematical ideas about aesthetics it developed into
