The London transport museum was pricey (£17 but ticket valid for a year) but worth it. Interestingly unique in that it also doubles as a history of the city itself.
I think I must have seen several dozen transportation-related museums in my life and it’s in the top 5.

Surprised there was a fee. Was in London in June & found out that most public museums and art galleries are free. Spent a couple of fun days revisiting the great, vast British Museum & a lovely art gallery on the Thames w/ the best views of skyline - all for free!

London has these odd, quirky and altogether wonderful mueseums.
We went to the Kings College (or thereabouts) Victorian surgical museum. We learnt why an operating theatre was in fact, a theatre...

The history of every large city is in a sense a history of it's transportation system. What is interestingly unique in case of London?
