I’m developing a bad habit of using the number of people I’ve terminally pissed off as a measure of impact on the world. The rationalization: its a less noisy measure than positive impact but reliably correlated to it.
Of course the real reason is that it’s darkly amusing.

For me it seems to be about 1 person every 500 new followers I get. Thanks, I’ve been meaning to say that somewhere but haven’t had an appropriate context

You should take comfort in the notion that "all progress depends on the unreasonable man" (GB Shaw) & pissing people of is what unreasonable people do. Hence, more people you piss off the more unreasonable you are, the more likely you have have ideas that can change the world!
