You know how they say 80% of success is just showing up? It really only works if you're able to hide the 80% you did that is pure crap and spin your success narrative around a selected and publicized 20%.
And it's more like 99% showing up/crap (Sturgeon's law applies).

When I was a teenager I had this vision for myself where I would publish and celebrate the 80% crap so people could “follow my journey”. I still have it on a /archives/ subdomain but I deleted in from main because it was getting too clutter-y

I guess unless you’re running for office or to be on the editorial board of NYT or something most people are going to ignore most of the stuff you don’t put a spotlight on
