The correspondence theory of truth is usually pretty much true.
What makes it work? Not a spooky metaphysical connection between beliefs and reality.
It works because we DO OBSERVABLE WORK to make it work.

I haven’t actually read it, but I’m familiar with the argument from secondary sources (and doing modal model theory in logic classes).

Sometimes you do read the original and its a revelation. But more often it’s “yeah, that’s what the wiki said.”
