Dominant game-theoretic strategies (where it's best for you to do X regardless of what the other side does) destroy information, since you don't have to pay attention to the game. I suspect in practice, they often have an element of brute force to them.

Example, in Brazilian jiu-jutsu, so I'm told, it is always good for the shorter person to take the fight to the ground. That could be read as destroying height/reach information. What say you

Also, BJJ is a game of levers, so factors like height/reach have relative value. Example: I’m 6’ 4” with gangly arms. I can utilise my limbiness but others can also exploit it.
