Depends on the scenario. If it’s a proper street fight, it’s no good for ANYONE to go to the ground (too many tail risks).

Also, BJJ is a game of levers, so factors like height/reach have relative value. Example: I’m 6’ 4” with gangly arms. I can utilise my limbiness but others can also exploit it.
