I think the limiting factor for slower, lower-climate-impact modes of passenger transport is actually extra time away from family, not cost or ability to work uninterrupted (which good videoconferencing fixes). Solution: sub videoconferencing for almost all business travel
Bullshit. I do 90% of my consulting work over videoconference with a half dozen clients using 4-5 different systems. Except for a few narrow cases, it’s very steadily getting there.
