The important part of this question is the forced-to-think-about part. If nothing is forcing you to think about it then simply not thinking about it is a good solution.

You should be more precise about the usage of "forced," however. I assumed it was broader than direct compulsion, and that one can be forced by some innate force within oneself. However, I take a dim view of free will.
