I’ll take a controversial one: ideology is undertheorized. Much of what passes for “ideology” in the marxist tradition is actually not about ideology at all, which leaves a bit of a vacuum.

Žižek seems to have done a good bit of it. I think the determining quality is willingness to deal simultaneously with the psychological aspect and the programmatic aspect.
