This is like, say, booking a mediocre-sounding package tour to an interesting place without knowing anything about it, being shown the mediocre time as promised, and learning just enough the place by the time it's over to realize you needn't have had a mediocre time.

I've been on that tour. #travelwriter Seems to me that the big problem is we're all taught to follow rules, any rules, as early as possible, until our innate child-like (not childish) joy at bending/breaking/ignoring rules is outweighed by guilt and shame, so we stop inventing.
