No doubt there is, but I must ask ... to what end? Figuring out which group is "to blame" (whether categorised by age or socioeconomic class or political preference or national border) doesn't even get everyone working together, let alone solving the problem.

I don't think it is even possible to answer more basic questions, like whether USA generated more wealth in 2017 or 2007, or whether USA or China generated more wealth in 2017.

Statistical analysis can answer all of this with a very high degree of accuracy. The caveat is sampling the right data, properly. It's the same basic math principles behind many other sciences: psychology, epidemiology, biology, medicine, economics, etc.
