this is true but I'm not sure I agree with that as "lost", per se. it's hard to explain, but your "lost time" metric is wrongly biased around this imaginary universe where the typo didn't exist.

the program you were trying to express didn't exist, because of a typo or misplaced apostrophe, sure, but it physically did not exist until you made it so. you can't call that "lost time" because it never belonged to you in the first place
