If K is number of codes you need to switch between to function in life, 1/K is a good measure of your freedom. If you lower your code switching by increasing the amount of code switching others have to do around you, that’s zero/negative-summing freedom via conflict/oppression

0 = absolute power emperor who need say nothing, just tilt head to get exactly what he wants. No code, infinite power. If every situation with every other person demands a new language of dissimulation from you, you’re absolutely powerless. As K —> infinity, 1/K —> 0

If you win a conflict violently, and before both of you were watching words but not code-switching, and after, you impose fear-based Loser Yesmanship (K=K+1 codes), and go Big Man, Uncut yourself (K=K-1) you gained zero-sum power, lost self-awareness.
