There are things I have shockingly low experience of, like interviewing for jobs. I’ve only had 4 in my life.
It’s also weird that in the high skill information economy, you’re likely to get about 3x-10x more experience interviewing than being interviewed. If you’re any good.

How is that shockingly low? Most people interviewed exactly zero people.

I mean I’ve only been the interviewee 4 times. I’ve been the interviewer far more often, like 30-40 times

Guessing that’s only full-time employee roles. Isnt every consulting inquiry a job interview?

not really... inbound is mostly already sold on the value prop and it's mostly a matter of details. Outbound I don't really do much of and that's much more like a pitching process than interview

Someone asked for a resume recently and I realized I haven't updated mine since my sophomore year of college 😂

Now this calls for one of your simple polls. I bet your followers match this ratio 3x-10x more than the general population. Comments by and indicate I am probably right.

Doesn't the math of the hiring proces dictate this? For every new job candidate who gets to the interview stage, there will be 4-5 individual interviews with that person, but the interviewee would call it one interview.

And the more people you interview, the more you realize the whole process is bullshit.
