I'd suspect one will get the most value out of stupidity applied in contexts arrived at by intelligence.

Depends how you define it, but in my case stupidity is good for forcing me into novel situations (read: learning experiences) because I did something dumb.

Where to start? Stupidity can be highly beneficial to an individual, though demonstrably a bad trait when its correlated life outcomes across individuals are considered. Conversely, being smart can be bad for an individual while clearly a more desirable trait in the aggregate.

Upsides: decisiveness, less susceptibility to certain kinds of mental illness, propensity for guilt-free hedonism, simpler lives, simpler needs.
