As somebody who stood in that dumb line for a 15y to be judged ‘deserving’, I’m entirely fine with some poor kid escaping a war zone or natural disaster jumping the line. I went the legal route because I had the luxury of time, and resources, not because I was ‘deserving’

My problem with illegals is that they seek to jump the line & gain preference over others, equally deserving, who want to come here

a) there are degrees of migration stress; presume stress claims legit unless proven not to b) the current administration seems to believe them to be rapist gang-members until proven otherwise which is an exponentially worse policy assumption

If you have symptoms of a rare disease, you definitely shouldn't go to a doctor to find out, because the probability is that you don't. You should have to prove you have the disease before you are eligible to receive a test or diagnosis confirming/disproving that you're sick.
