As somebody who stood in that dumb line for a 15y to be judged ‘deserving’, I’m entirely fine with some poor kid escaping a war zone or natural disaster jumping the line. I went the legal route because I had the luxury of time, and resources, not because I was ‘deserving’

a) there are degrees of migration stress; presume stress claims legit unless proven not to b) the current administration seems to believe them to be rapist gang-members until proven otherwise which is an exponentially worse policy assumption

Dinesh D'Souza's problem is all the money he gets paid to write vile stupid shit. Such people make it sound like it's coming from their feelings, but I seriously doubt it.

from my experiences in L.A., most are refugees of global capitalism, imperial interventions and other inhumane asymmetries. they will continue to flow toward spaces with resources.
