What are the most efficient and optimized organisms in some physics-meaningful sense? Like say energy efficiency or jaw force generated per pound of body mass or something?

Yeah, the more interesting item on that list is salmon. I guess it makes some sense it would be a fish, but weird that it is a fish generally in the middle weight-wise. Guess that's the optimized design
