Is there a term for being a free-marketer for almost everything except land ownership?
It’s like world’s land needs a serious round of garbage collection in the programming sense. Far too much of it has effectively leaked out of economy due to antiquated territoriality laws.

San Francisco is just the worst-case example, and Georgism/LVT just one fashionable solution, but everywhere you look, the root cause of a lot of economic malaise seems to be regressive land rights laws.

You might find the Singaporean model interesting, same with Kuomintang-era land reforms and Hong Kong MTR's value capture.
Heard from that Radical Markets posits an interesting system for land prices too, but haven't read it

I don’t know. I think Georgism is too purist and a bit cargo cultish. I am for a much broader design space opened up by weakening private ownership of land.
