Anyone know of good writing with growth-oriented arguments for marriage or long-term romantic commitments?
Mostly I find stability arguments, or reactions against monogamy (uninteresting), or people taking the goodness of committed LTRs/marriage for granted.

I’m not sure I have arguments, more like observations + enthusiasm

pretty cool even ignoring the personal growth possible from epistemic bonding/specialization within couple

What’s the difference between that and total codependence? What’s the reading of couples where partners die within days of each other (not suicide, just one dying = other gives up)

I’m not sure I believe in codependence but I hear the word a lot
