Damn I'm not as inscrutable as I thought. Yes, there's a bit of a triangular mapping there, but it's kairos = [creative destructive] process and aion = virtue. "Process"as usually used more often refers to mimesis/social programming than elan vital-ish. But not pure 1:1. More 3:3

Is it possible to be dying in all three ways, or are they mutually exclusive? Asking for a friend

1 is enough but 2 or 3 helps make it sure. And yes they’re correlated.

Easy to be seduced by triads, but taking some liberties it seems to map to Lacan’s Symbolic (Aion), Real (Chronos) and Imaginary (Kairos). I think “reality maintenance” is a reasonable translation of the psychoanalytic domain as well.

ah good mapping, thanks, was not aware of that. any particular lacan ref where that is developed?

What domains of knowledge would be needed to understand this better? I'm unfamiliar with some of the terms, and Googling them returns ambiguous and unrelated content.
