Good comparison. The difference is that air pressure *also* has a strong analytical model attached to it derived from first-principles axiomatic models about elastic collisions. If you give me similar model backing via neuroscience first principles, I'd be far more interested.

Oh I like that. Kolmogorov-Chaitin is my go to mental model for intelligence. See also Schmidhuber. Wisner-Gross almost had a good related idea but it appears to be bs upon deeper look.
