3. I will work with others in congress who believe in HUMANE comprehensive immigration reform and expanded access to the asylum process and a broadening of who qualifies for asylum
4. I would support removing deportation authority from ICE agents so that they no longer have discretion to deport individuals. That authority belongs solely with judges.

5. Immigration judges should have broad discretion on asylum cases and they should be independent of the DOJ.

6. Ultimately, we have to win elections. That is the urgency TODAY, November, and every day after the midterms leading up to 2020. Unless we remove the individual at the very top, we will continue to see racist, hateful, cruel and evil policy.
